For those of you who have followed me for some time now, I thank you deeply from the bottom of my heart.. For those of you who are new here, welcome! This is the newest little venture I’m taking in letting you all in on our daily lives. The raw, unedited, craziness that goes on under our roof every. single. day.. I will be sharing baby and toddler must-haves, potty training tips (we’re still figuring that one out), and just some plain old goodness of life with two little girls.
As most of you know my husband travels for work.. Luckily we have had him home since right before Christmas, and have got to spend some much needed family time together. Unluckily, his time here has expired and he has to hit the road again. Its always such a bittersweet feeling when he gets the call to head off to work. Bitter because he has to be away from us, sometimes for weeks on end.. But sweet because he is holding up his end of the bargain and has to work his tush off so that I have the opportunity to stay home with these girls of ours. Although it gets tough sometimes, I believe neither one of us would have it any other way. He loves what he does, and so do I!
SO, that is what has led me to this little venture on here.. what I’m calling “Sweet N Salty Sisters for now” with the hopes that little sister is sweet as can be since Koko is quite salty these days (like the sour patch slogan). Its gonna be just two little girls and I here and to say “I got this” would be a lie. This is going to be a huge adjustment for all of us, but especially for me and Koko.. I am blessed with a husband who gives 110% always.. When he isn’t working, he is building us a chicken coop, taking Khloe to the store with him so I can have five minutes of quiet, and all sorts of wonderful little helpings and I am so dang lucky. So for now I will be taking a little step back from working my butt off for some really great clients (whom I love so much), and will be spending some much needed down time with my babe before I have to give another little human all of me at the same time.. I can’t wait for little sister to be here and neither can anyone else around here!
